After graduating from the Royal College of Art, I spent several years feeling lost—often joking that I had “plenty of inspiration but nothing to show for it.” It wasn’t until I devoted 2,653 days and nights traveling across Asia and Europe that I realized I could draw from the subtle beauty and natural harmony of the East while developing a distinctly Western design style. My goal was to create lighting that delivers both high quality and exceptional value. From this vision, Franning was born.
